Good question, maybe they don't want others to read them? I wondered the same thing.

Its really up to you and what you're comfortable with. Some may do it so you must leave a comment if you want to say something. Some may not be able to keep up with all of them, and I have read a bunch of articles about some people being 'attacked' in their pings because of their political posts (I read this from all sides), so its possible that they are disallowing pings until that all calms down. {{HUGS}}

I allow it, but I may delete any that are spam. I don't usually ping anyone else unless something compells me to.

Glad you asked, I'd been wondering, too.

I forget to look at mind, but read my emails every day. Maybe that's someone's reason.

I delete my pings that don't say anything much, so they are easy to get rid of.
