I realized that today  was 9/11 it is my current boyfriends 21st b-day and the date of my ex boyfriends death. I Wrote a poem for both.

For My Ex-Boyfriend
Angel in the Sky Angel, angel in the sky,
Why did you go I wonder why?
Why God hath taketh you away,
It ponders my mind oh still to this day.
Your loving heart, your sweet, sweet face,
I assume it was time for you to rest in your place.
Oh high up in the heavens above,
Although were without your presence we still feel your love.
The pictures, the memories of all the times we shared,
There's just no friendship that could be compared.
I'll pray that those times never fade away,
And I'll hold them close to my heart as I live day by day.
Although I sit and ask myself why, oh why,
I know in my heart you're the greatest Angel in the sky!

For My Current Boyfriend

 I Love You Whenever I am with you,
You and I are all.
Everytime I see you,
My heart falls the fall.
I hope you feel the same,
because baby, love is a two way game.
I will always love you in mine own way,
I also hope as friends we stay.
You are the one for me,
No one else will their ever be.
I love you lots,
I love you with all my heart.
I love you so much,
I want us to never be apart.

Amber, synchronicity! I have a good friend whose current husband's birthday is the same day as her previous husband's death (she was a widow). We talked more than once about how she dealt with it. It's a very hard thing to do. My heart is with you Amber. I know this, also considering that is the anniversary of 9.11, must make his birthday bittersweet. You honour them both with your words.
