The Queen, The Jew, And Ethics

Unethical said the Queen as she looked at the Jew
Ethics and doing right is a devotion
The Jew looked back at the Queen
With her minions standing around her just begging for her glance
The Queen was beauty, even if her mirror said otherwise
She demanded a response from the Jew
So he started to explain
Ethics is one of the cornerstones of my religion
It was in my upbringing
and it is in my soul
The Queen responded In her haughty voice
Well why have you acted as you have?
There are two sides to every story said the Jew
What you see as part of the irrational world, may not be
For G-D is here to guide us in all things
It is He who orders the world
It is He who determines my ethics in all things
Is there any hope of you coming to your senses?
The Queen quite perturbed yelled
It is He that brings all sense and all order
You cannot change this
With all the dieties you worship, there is only one G-D
And nothing you can do will make it change
My heart was at unrest
He had made it so
He will bring my heart to rest again, in His good time
You my Queen are basically unethical and destructive to all
For you do not see the light that shines so bright from His eyes
You do not hear the lilting of the beauty of His voice
You do not feel the comfort of His presence in prayer
You do not stop and see and listen and notice what is really happening
The Queen vented and even felt wounded
Because she knew in her heart that The Jew was right
