Kyleigh's Story - Counting the Numbers

During the last few phone calls, my mom has been showing off Kyleigh's ability to repeat numbers after my mom. After my mom counted, "Yi (1)," Kyleigh would repeat, "Yi," and so on.

Last night it was a little different. My mom again asked Kyleigh to count with her. My mom started by saying, "Yi."

Instead of repeating, Kyleigh said, "Errrrr (twooooo)."

My mom and I both said, "Dui (Correct)! Yi, Er, ..."

And then Kyleigh said, "Sannnnn (threeeee)."

I was very impressed!

Kyleigh also seemed to be on a roll. She then said, "Qi (7), Ba (8), Jiu (9)."

I don't know where 4, 5, and 6 went, but hey, that's my smarty girl.

Cute. That's one thing I know in Chinese.How to count to 10. =)
Destiny's doing pretty good with counting too.When she doesn't want to she'll sigh and go oh,momma.
