Book Review - Leading Lady by Kate Coscarelli

This is a story of a child star, Bunny; her mother, Laverne, and her daughter, Chelsea. It is three generations of women. The movie scandals. The struggles of a mother trying to break her young child into the movies.

Bunny was the successful child star. Then broke into adult films. Laverne, her mother had to be pushy, domineering, and clever.Bunny went into depression when a film was over and overate. Laverne constantly had to keep her on a diet.

Chelsea was an ignored child.

Bunny finishes her greatest movie. When Laverne goes to the Doctor. She has cancer.

In the meantime, Chelsea made a friend ib school, Margaret.

She is invited to England for a visit in the summer. It is a delightful time.

This is such a good book. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
