I wonder how she will do in an interview now that all the VP pressure is off her.

You know something I think hurts this woman is her beauty and intelligence to go along with that. Now I know nothing about politics, but I do know she could not be where she is today if she did not have some kind of extra smarts about herself. These two together surely provoke a lot of envy, jealousy and strife against her.

Thanks, Cathi. I did a lot of exploring at HowObamaGotElected.com and watched every video there. It's sad how few people really knew (or even know now) what the Obama campaign was all about or what he proposes once he's in the White House. But they know all about Palin's daughter and about how much the RNC spend on clothes. What a shame.

We only had a month to learn about Palin, and she made it hard on herself by playing hard to get. Obama got MANY months of play when he was slogging it out with Hillary, and did MANY interviews.

Thanks for sharing the interviews. I don't think you're going to change the minds of the Peter Swansons with all the information you can provide about Sarah Palin. It was clear that the TV anchors were out to get Sarah.

I saw this before. I didn't view it here, but I think it's the one where the interviewer asks her whether she'd have been looked at and received totally differently had she been Obama's running mate instead. Thought that was a very good point.

She did basically say that and she has some very good points. The media twisted and controlled everything. I talked to someone a couple of weeks ago who was certain Palin said you could see Russia from her backyard. I told him that she DID say and he didn't believe me. He said he SAW the interview and KNOWS that's was Palin said. I had to go back to the transcript yet again to prove it. I should carry the darn thing around with me in my purse, I come across this so often.

People that believed all this garbage about this woman, either dont have a very high IQ or like to believe lies...

Well Cathi, I sit here this morning awestruck at the whimsical if not all encompassing power of God.

Caroline [Camelot] Kennedy was forced out of consideration for the NY senate seat.

Now you may ask, what does this have to do with Sarah Palin?

Think about it. Governor Palin, a decent hard working self made elected, conservative public official, thoroughly excoriated by the liberal press and lampooned by SNL.

Now, along comes liberal icon, little Caroline, fa-la-laing along, expecting to receive her birthright, an appointment to the senate, skipping across an NYC street and BAM! Broadsided by a media truck!--never knew what hit her, poor thing. Even the most devout atheist must grudgingly admit to the existence of a God; for if the adoring liberal press can slice and dice the last remnants of "Camelot," Obama's hand picked successor to Hillary's seat, it must be divine intervention at work.

Somewhere in Alaska, there is a governor allowing herself a little chuckle whilst preparing the evening moose entree.

I hate to say it, but I think the media was absolutely sexist in the way they treated Hillary and Palin.

Thanks for posting this. It is timely and appropriate.

I believe the media assault on Sarah Palin, her character, and her entire family is the worst we have ever seen on any public figure.

The comments about her baby with Down Syndrome were hurtful, beyond comprehension, even to the most casual viewer. Their treatment of her was beyond the pale, outside the bounds of having anything to do with the office she was campaigning for.

It was important for the American public to learn that such injustices can occur in supposed news reporting and not allow anything like that to occur again. The redeeming act of this is knowing that two reporters were replaced, partly because of their vicious attacks on Palin.

Sarah Palin should spend her time doing something she's most capable and write a book about hunting from a helicopter.

I think John wanted to lose. She sounds like a snake oil salesperson to me.

I do believe there was media bias... but then again when you consider that Ted Turner was married to Hanoi Jane.... it's obvious that their impact on CNN and the mainstream media will take time to filter itself out. Glad they are gone... wish they could be forgotten!

Miss Havisham, I can certainly understand your point of view. The part about Couric and Fey, there has been a tremendous amount of confusion on who gave what answers. I'm aware of several people who are positive Palin gave certain answers that are actually from Fey. Absolutely positive.

Although I didn't watch the Couric interview (I can't stand how Couric was made over!). I did see the Charlie Gibson interview and I felt Charlie WAS out for blood. I didn't see similar interviewing techniques and questions when applied to Obama and Biden.

I was appalled when Good Morning, America interviewed Hillary Clinton the morning after Palin & Biden's debate. She was asked to critique Palin. That one really bothered me.

But to the magazines and newspapers, I don't have an answer on that one. Unless Palin showed up knowing she was going to be slaughtered and just gave flippant answers, I don't quite understand that one.
