Not to the United States of America, no, that's not the accusation. But there was a bit of grumbling today from the Rush Limbaugh peanut gallery that Colin Powell betrayed his political party, the same people who pinned the stars on his uniform. That's immoral, that's treachery, grumble grumble.
One question. You guys waved Joe Lieberman around like a trophy at the Republican Convention. How is that different from what the Dems just did to you?

Powell made a cogent, strong presentation to Brokaw. Whether it sways anyone or not, I hope persons of both persuasions listen and consider.
Delusional.
that said I doubt he'd have jumped party (or even expressed an opinion) for a white candidate. He never had before.
Does General Powell's lack of endorsing a White candidate make him a racist?
I think not.
He happens to be one of the growing legions of Republicans standing up for what is right and endorsing the candidate that is Right for America NOW.
Your not just another fanatic follower of the Blowhard Drug Addicted Addled Brain Loser Rush Blimplaw are you?
I think Powell was doing what he thought was right but I also think he was taking some revenge for the way Bush used him for a scape goat. I think Powell sees McCain as another Bush and decided we had enough of Bush and need some real leadership while their is still an America to lead.
What happened to all the feel good, reaching across party lines, bi-partisanship argument? I guess Obama doesn't really need to reach that far, everyone's gravitating towards him on their own accord, and for good reason.
