How is your week going?

So, the week starts on Sunday: We went out of town on Sat to our daughter's homecoming at college. Got home Sunday afternoon. I had to switch shfits on Sunday in order for that to happen (used a vacation day for Sat) so Sunday I worked 4-midnite, that was hard...lol Hubby went to an auction after we got home and got some really good bargains: A DBL bed for a spare room I painted (mint condition), 4 ice cream parlor chairs with seat cushions and a warped table (lol) I only wanted the chairs anyway, so very cool (chairs in excellent condition) a Kirby vac, that works fine (can keep in basement so I do not have to lug other one up & downstairs), I think all told he spent $80~what a bargain shopper he is! And he got a BIG hug from me for the chairs (we have been looking for some for 10 years).

Monday: Wokred with Cha Cha in the morning, did a bit of "Gathering" and some of my other sites. Then I puttered around the house. Sprayed that bed good with Lysol (just in case) I had already bought some bedding on clearance, so got it washed and bed made. I do not have pillows for it, but am thinking I will get US some nice new pillows and move ours to that bed.Oh and I watched Extreme home makeover and Desperate Housewives that I recorded Sunday evening. And I washed the braided seat covers that were on theose ice cream parlor chairs.  Hubby fixed dinner and I worked 4 p.m.-9 p.m. Hot bath and off to bed early.

Now it is Tuesday: My only day off...what do I want to do today?? NOTHING! LOL...But...My big Sis is coming tomorrow and we are going out to lunch. Since the last time she was here, I got a lighted cabinet for the dining room and put my depression glass and other pretties in it. And now have those chairs and that bed, so I need to pick up house today and run through with vac. and dustrag. 

Tonight we are going to a nearby town for dinner and then there is a place there that has an auction EVERY Tuesday evening, so going to pop in and check it out.  And then I will have to come home and watch Biggest Loser (will record it)

So I guess my day off is going to be pretty busy.....
