The Incredible! group is hosting a “Rachael Ray Show” Viewing Party Chat on Friday, March 6, at 7:30 pm ET. Join us and win Gather Points™!
Friday’s show will feature Molly Reed, a first and second grade teacher at Borton Primary Magnet School in Tucson, Arizona, who is working to inspire kids to lead healthier lives. After watching her students double in size and say things like, “vegetables are grown in the grocery store,” Molly decided to teach her students and her community where healthy foods come from and how to produce and grow them in their own back yard. She created a garden at her school, as well as a chicken coop and farmer’s market that provides fresh food to the entire community. According to Molly, the garden and coop teach her students not only about eating healthfully, but also about where our food comes from and the responsibility of taking care of animals.

I need to make dinner so can not stay for all of this.
I will answer this question, though.
"Do you grow your own fruits, vegetables or herbs, or even raise farm animals?" Yes, we do all of that. We only have a few grape vines and a couple of apple trees so far, but last summer we had a vegetable garden that took up almost as much room as our house, and we bought calves to fatten and grow up for hamburger.
My MIL is going to build a chicken coupe and I would LOVE to get a few piglets to raise for pork.
I would like to have a pet pig, but I really like the difference between home raised pork and sausage compared to store bought. What we had before, even after freezing and thawing was much better texture and flavor then store bought.
Molly great teacher.
I have a few veggies and herbs in my home garden as well as fruit trees.
I own the Shedding Light group and the members testimonies speak for themselves about healthing living. So, yes, to the last question. Salud
I have very limited space in my apartman but I am trying to have at least few herbs on my balcony , I can use in salads or in different dishes. But when I was a child we had this huge garden and I loved to have my own little garden. Hopefully one day I will have my big garden again.
We talk daily with my husband about eating healthy and we are trying to include a lot vegetables and fruits to our daily menu.
* Do you grow your own fruits, vegetables or herbs, or even raise farm animals? We live in the burbs so it difficult to have a large garden, but we do well with a small. We plant fruit, veggies and herbs. I would never eat farm animals that I happen to have raised, so I wouldn't have goats or lambs, for example.
* Do you talk about healthy living and eating with your family and friends? What’s your favorite healthy food?- All the time! When you are friend of mine, you learn to talk food. And quickly enough, you learn to enjoy food talk! Our favorite food in the summer is grilled meat salads. They are a healthy and quick meal.
* Are there people in your life helping people eat and live healthier who you think are “incredible”?- Yes, my sister Shelley is really the on that introduced me to more eclectic and healthier choices.
