"Mom, when is my birthday going to start?"

Today, my Princess is 5 years old!!!!  However, we had her birthday party and Stephy's Princess Castle & Princess Cakes... A Royal Celebration! on Saturday. 

Yesterday on our way to take Chandler to school, Stephy said "Tomorrow is my birthday, that means another party and cake, right?"  I explained to her that she already had her party and cake!  I told her dad and he said it sounds like I had to make another cake! LOL!

Just a few minutes ago, she came up to me and said "Mom, when is my birthday going to start?"

Kids are SO funny!

We always make sure to have a small cake just for us for the actual date of the birthday, and the kids each get a small gift from mom & dad on that day, regardless of when we have the party :)

Hahaha at least mine almost always get two parties already, one with me and one with their Dad.
So far it has worked out where I always had them for the actual day, and he got leftovers of the following weekend... my son's 5th birthday is in March and will be the first one where he gets them on that day and I get to be the second party.

We always thought having it on another day confuses the kids. We usually let him open a gift on the actual day, or do something special to still celebrate.

That's hillarious! I agree, make her some cupcakes or something little like that for tonight. Mine's the same way, his birthday isn't until the 21st but he's been asking "Is it my birthday yet?" since Christmas! LOL
She is so sweet, I remember when you first joined gather, how adorable she was then. I have enjoyed watching her grow up into a beautiful girl.
I wish her many, many more birthdays.
