My baby will be 5 in exactly one week, party this weekend.

I still can hardly grasp the fact that my baby is going to be 5 years old a week from today.  On January 13th, 2004 my baby was born.  Where did the time go?  How can she be 5 already?

We are having her birthday party on Saturday, the 10th!  She invited her 4 closest friends and all of them are coming!  She chose to have a Princess Party.  They are all going to be dressed up as a Princess.

We are going to do a craft, a pinata, snacks, cake of course and they are going to be getting their hair and nails done!  She's so excited that each morning she looks at the calendar and counts the days.

Your daughter was born on the exact same date and year as my son. Sounds like you have a fun party planned. I can't believe my son is going to be 5 either. Those years just flew by.

They do grow quickly. My yongest just turned 14 and my oldest is 18. It is hard to believe.

I can't wait to see the Princess pictures! Geez! Five already? She'll be starting school next fall? That's going to be really hard on you at first but I promise that after a while you're going to enjoy the "ME" time you get while they're in school. Since Kolten is on homeschool for this year, I've certainly been missing my eight hours of doing things exactly as I want when I want, be it cleaning, reading, gathering or napping..........I'm counting down the days til school starts next year! lol

Hard to believe they're getting so old, isn't it?

Gilly just turned 7, and I can't help but wonder where it all went! ;) Chris will be 10 next week. We're going to have a party here at our house this year. Usually, we drive over to my family in GR over an hour away, but it costs gas money, and because I hate trying to set up a party at someone elses house, we wind up spending money on taking them somewhere.

So, instead, we're having the party at home this year, and if people can come, great. If not, oh well.
