My daughter, Hannah, age 11, wrote this report about her after school activity for a chance to win a book in the Incredible Group.

My after school activity is ballet. I go to ballet four times a week for an hour and a half each class, plus rehearsals for any ballet performances. Rehearsals can be from a half an hour up to two hours long and dress rehearsals at the theater are usually four to five hours long.
In ballet we need to wear leotards, tights, and ballet shoes. The shoes can be canvas or leather slippers; although more advanced wear silky pink toe shoes. Tights come in many styles too. Full footed is my favorite although I don't mind convertibles (full footed with a hole on the bottom), footless tights are the least popular, stirrup tights are footless tights except it has a hole the heal goes into, and then there are capris. There is a huge variety of leotards. They come in a wide range of styles, colors, and brands. Skirts, shorts, shirts, legwarmers, and sweaters are optional.
After an hour and a half of ballet, you could be tired. Especially if it is the day you wear toe shoes. Even though it is tiring, ballet is very enjoyable and rewarding.

Ina, thank you so much! Ballet starts out needing only one hour class a week, but quickly advances to every day.
Watch a child generate her own thought
And opinion, and even
More fascinating to watch them
Express such in written form..
Well done Hannah, I hope you never
Stop writing.
