An afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch --- A photo essay

On Friday, we went to the Pumpkin Patch and spent about 2 hours having FUN!!!  The kids were SO excited to go and even more excited once we got there.  We went with Stephy's best friend and her mom.  We figured we would take full advantage of the day since there was no school for the kids that day.  (Stephy's best friend, Annika, and Chandler are in school)

I dressed my kinds both in orange on purpose because I knew it would be great for photos.  When Annika and her mom showed up to get us, Annika was dressed in orange too! LOL!

The kids got to walk through the pumpkin fields and choose which pumpkin and gourds they wanted.  Then they got to pick them as well!  They looked at SO many and had a fun but hard time choosing which one they wanted.

After they picked out their pumpkins, we had a picnic lunch and played a few quick games of tag.  And a quick game of hide-and-seek! :)  Then it was off to the corn maze.  Where the kids left us moms in the dust and hid around every corner.

We don't have pumpkin patches like this down here in the heat. Last year I found a place where a church sold a bunch of pumpkins, but no fun:)

gorgeous and the orange does look great!! my son went on a field trip in k3 to the pumpkin patch and it is truly amazing how long it takes children to pick out a pumpkin

What a GORGEOUS photo essay!! This weekend I'm taking my grandsons out to my garden with the tractor cart, and we'll pick out the ones they want to take home, then decorate the outside of our house with the rest. Can't wait!!!
