I received a wonderful box of seasonings from Weber through a Marlboro promotion. One of the seasonings was labeled “for burgers”, and it became the star of tonight’s dinner.
Measurements are approximate.
1 lb ground beef
2 T Weber burger seasoning, plus additional to serve
sliced Colby-Jack cheese or your favorite
Shannon Style Potato Salad
1 lb new potatoes, quartered
3 eggs, hard boiled and chopped
1 pickle, chopped
1 cup mayo
splash of milk
1 t coarse ground mustard with garlic
1 T Weber burger seasoning
Mix ground beef with seasoning. Cover and let sit in the fridge for a couple hours.
In a large pot of water, boil potatoes til tender, about 15 minutes. Rinse in cold water and drain well.
Mix remaining ingredients. Toss with potatoes. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least two hours.
Grill burgers on medium heat til desired doneness. Top with cheese if using. Sprinkle with additional seasoning to serve.
I served the burgers with a heaping scoop of potato salad.
