The case of the dissapearing ground cover flowers......

I don't even know what these are called but once I first mow, they won't be back till next spring. They are pretty but I really did need to mow.

ive heard there is something called creeping charlie - this might be it. I have a weird weed in my yard too. But mine is there all summer.

LOL! Ruth, that is only a fraction of it....i have to mow one side one day, and the other side, front and back on another day....I have a non self propelled mower, i figure the exercise is good for me:)

we have some of these that popped up this year in our yard and I don't remember ever seeing them there before. Definitely not as much as this year anyway. They're kind of neat and I was curious as to what they are.

It looks like some small grassy Lilac of some sort, but I can't say that I've seen that before.

That's some cool stuff, I like the color in the spring. At least you know it will be back and it doesn't leave bare spots when it's not flowering.
