the last of the daffodils

the first spring flowers are about gone, and I'm watching the Lilies come up and get ready to bloom, so I'm waiting for new flowers to come up so I can get out there with my camera  and get new pictures of lilies and other spring flowers.

but here are 2 shots I took over the weekend

Not sure if you can see the detail, but when I look at them in PhotoShop and not uploaded the petals of the flower are almost transparent.....and that's what really attracted me to photograph them.

How beautiful. I adore daffodils but I haven't grown them in ages. These are just gorgeous pictures! Thanks for passing them on. It is a shame that the Spring flowers are gone. My crocuses died a couple of weeks ago.
