I Love Flowers

I can't wait for spring to get here.  I was at the grocery store the other day and picked up a primrose for my collection outside.  I have white, yellow, red, purple and now this new one.  

Primroses are perennials and they like shady areas.  The greenhouses put them in smaller pots and let them get pot bound so that they will bloom faster to sell this time of year.  I used to work in a greenhouse when I was younger.  I always wanted to own one, but never did.  I do however have plants and flowers all over my yard and indoors.  All my neighbors and friends come to me for advice and I share plants and cuttings.

I had to transplant this yesterday into another pot.  We still have awhile before we can plant outside.

I have my list ready for my vegetable, flower and herb gardens.  I started a few things.

I can't wait to get back outside.  Here is Rocky checking out the new plant.  He loves to help his Mom with everything.
