I noticed the gather gods are moaning and groaning about pending and comments needing review

It never ceases to amaze me how these people seem to think they can run a person off of Gather by ignoring them.

It seems that people think that  people who choose to approve comments can not handle dissent.

If they want to believe that lie, that's fine with me, but in truth, we have a right to approve comments because of the people who do harass us, follow us around, swear in posts, make crude comments like eating cats,  or calling me and or others names in comments to posts.

How about the ping that someone sent to a friend that said that they thought someone should remove my comment from their post just because I denied them, or removed them?   Its people who have that mentality that don't get approved.  Its not because we disagree its because I see them acting as children.

1-900-WAA-AAHH  is what I have to say.

I have one person that I try to avoid who removes my posts, occasionally I miss who writes it, and he deletes my comment, so what, big fricking deal.  NOT.  You don't see me  starting a post about him, and calling him names.

Maybe if people realized that I, and others, remove or deny comments because of the type of person you are, not your beliefs, maybe you would understand that others feel the same way and do the same thing.

I have very strong political beliefs, and being told that If I believe a certain way politically that I need 'help' or I read news from WND or Drudge Report, that I need help immediately, all I have to say is that I see Obama has effectively brainwashed another sheeple to his way of thinking.  Yeap that's my opinion.

People hate Bush, so what, you know as well as I do that even if he did commit 'crimes' he will never be prosecuted or charged for them, and even if he was, he would be pardoned.  Which would get everyone's knickers in a twist.  I have a feeling that by the end of Obama's first term he will have just as large of numbers of people that don't like him as well.  He's got a good start even before he was sworn in.

So to the gods of gather who think you can run me off by ignoring me, and to the sheeple that follow you guys and gals.  If you want to ignore me, that's great, maybe then I can stop having to approve comments and dealing with people who want to cuss me out in a post, and the 2 faced people that will be nice to me in a comment and slam me everywhere else on the boards!  What a novel idea.

And I have a feeling that there are other people on this board that feel the exact same way I do.

How would you like people to come into a post you made about your cat and talk about eating cats?  Disgusting, that person gets denied by his avatar, not because of what he says, or thinks politically!

Another person called someone else a 'douchebag' in a comment and then commenced to calling me names elsewhere on the board, he gets denied by his avatar not what he has to say.  I can continue on for reasons that I deny people, and not a single one of them (the reasons) have anything to do with what people think or believe.

This is what Gather suggested that I do, but of course, they approve harassment by members when people call out a name, and put others down because they don't approve their posts, and they call out to the sheeple to rally around them.
