Need help with doing a post and using pictures!

Can anyone give me a bit of step by step to adding pictures NEXT to my posting?

The only way I have done it do far, is to do the post and then add the pictures so that they are at the bottom where it says "view all photos" and then has the scroll thingy, or people can click on each photo to go to that page.

What you can do while creating your post is click on each picture that you would like added. A popup box showing the picture will come up. Drag the photo over onto the post wherever you want to put it. Hope this helps!

Your asking about how to add them to a photo essay?

After you have added the pictures and you see them add the bottom. Click on them to make them larger. Than drag them to your post.

If you wish them to stay small and want them in your article. Just drag them where you wish.

Yes, Minipin a photo essay type of thing...so it is basically just a drag and drop procedure? Wow! Even I can do that! LOL

You drag and drop them into the article. If you click it first, it will open a pop up with a larger copy.

Lisa told you just what I was going to say. The picture you upload after you write your post will be at the bottom of the post. Left click with your mouse on the picture and hold it there as you drag it up into the post. When you have it where you want it in the post, let go of your left click on the mouse. And it stays put.

As has been pointed out above, there are two sizes available for your photos. Small (the size that appears beneath your post while editing), and HUGE.

You may not always want such a large photo in your post though. Thankfully you can easily reduce the size of any photo after you have dragged it into the editor.

Here's how:

Click and drag the larger photo into your post.
The photo may have small squares around the edge. These are called 'handles'. You can click and drag these handles to shrink the photo to the size you desire. If you do not see these squares, then click the photo once after you have dragged it into the body of your post. The handles will appear as illustrated below:

Tip: You should always shrink a larger photo, rather than enlarge a smaller one. This will ensure that the photo maintains its original resolution (sharpness).
Repeat for each photo you wish to change the size of.

Load the pictures after you write the post ( it says add photos) then drag the pics into the post. Just play with it you can always delete if you dont get it right. Be sure to save a copy on word of your post. I have lost articles before it ain't pretty to do so. Good Luck!

looks like you got your answer...this is something I had to learn too...I was dragging them from the bottom and wondering why everyone else could have big photos and mine were always so small.
