Jan 3rd, 2008, the Iowa caucuses got the U.S. presidential nomination campaign under way at its earliest date with Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Mike Huckabee the initial winners in a story that dominated the political scene for much of the year.

 

This was the first time I ever attended our caucas, took my 17 year old daughter along too.
