Hope everyone is having a good day. I am taking a sewing break, got 1 apron done and starting on another one.
I am not happy with the way the first one came out. I have not sewed in about a year..lol
I just might keep that one for myself. The fabric is real pretty, I will try to post a picture tomorrow.
The phone rang, so I decided to take a wee break and make a cup of hot tea.
Pretty soon I need to put the meatloaf together and pop it in the oven. Thinking I can talk Hubby into peeling potatoes for me while I sew a bit more. Maybe he can also think up a veggie to go with. He froze some corn this summer, so that would be good.
And this is Grey's Anatomy night! WOOT!
I can sit and knit while that is on.

The mailman has just decided to grace us with his presence at 6:30pm. I'm glad I don't wait until the last second to get something mailed out...
As for dinner, I'll be hitting Subway as soon as I finish with the laundry/vacuuming. That's my reward for destroying the apartment earlier to get rid of stuff before we move then getting it all back away in less than 8 hours.

We're pretty laid back for dinner most nights, since it's just Elliott and me. We eat our big meal at lunch time before my husband leaves for work.
As far as having the hubby peel potatoes, have you ever eaten mashed potatoes with the skins left on? They are really good and no peeling.
We are having Old Bay chicken, quiona and roasted butternute squash.

I picked up dinner :)
Today was busy at work. Tomorrow is FRIDAY, thank goodness!!! My vacation starts next Friday and I can't wait. My plans are to get some craft things done around the house.
Turns out it was a $2.00 part but cost $70.00 an hour to diagnose the problem which was solved in less than 20 minutes! Trying not to get pissed about how I was charged the full $70.00 when it didn't take that long! Lucky I wasn't on the road or it would have happened next week as I'm just returning to work from medical disability so how would that sound if I called up and said the car died.
Easy meal-ham steak, cubed golden acorn squash baked with some butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar, and yams. It should be ready soon..smells great!
Dinner went well, we had Salisbury steaks and pasta
