Geraniums I rescued

When the cold weather approached, I had a geranium about to bloom, so I dug these up and brought them into the house. Now 2 are blooming! I have never tried to keep them over the winter, but so far, so good!

While I like geraniums, I've never had one. Are they hard to grow?

I only buy a few each summer because they are not usually cheap. So if I can keep these alive, I will be VERY happy!

My Mom used to ring hers in every winter and leave them in the cellsr to dry out then come spring she would water them and WOW they always came back.

Good luck! I've never had luck with Geraniums, but I've brought in my Mandevilla vine and Rosemary again this year. They aren't too happy looking come spring, but they usually perk up again once they can go outside again for the summer.

Never had much luck keeping geraniums over the winter. Will have to try Elaine S. mothers way. (Awkward sentence!)
