Note: I'm reposting my older summer photos here. Since my summer is over in six days, I guess it's time to say goodbye to the summer period but not the season just yet :)
I love photography. I use my digital camera on a daily basis and try to take it with me as often as possible. But, what is photography? To be photography is important, in one instance your freezing a moment of time, an image forever encased in some form (deletion need not apply). We can say that we lived through a time when gas prices were $4.99 a galloon, but if we take a picture, we can say, "I was there!" I think we've all had days where we've stumbled across old photo albums and sat for an hour or more just going through them looking back at the past. To quote Robin Williams from One hour Photo;
"Someone cared enough about me to take my picture"

The answer to your question: Photography to me is recording the moment, capturing time, & documenting history.
I take lots of pictures and sometimes I actually get
those artistic shots. Other times, photography is just
a really fun way to share my everyday life with others.
