On my last trip out I got to travel to San Francisco and Los Angeles and took the opportunity to stay at two Westin hotels. I took along my camera and here are some of the photos from that trip.

This was the view my room from the Westin - Market Street in San Francisco. I had an amazing corner room with great views of the city.

One of the best things about Westin is their Heavenly Beds. This is one of the most comfortable beds you'll ever stay at in a hotel. It's hard to pull yourself out of it in the morning when, you know, you have to go to client meetings and stuff.

Like I said, it was a really nice room and the views were amazing!

This is Lauren, our West Coast Account Executive. We stopped off at Starbucks between meetings.

Our next stop was LA and the Westin Bonaventure hotel. You may recognize this hotel from several movies that were filmed here. Clint Eastwood and John Malkavich have a showdown in the elevator in the film "In the Line of Fire," and Johnny Depp tries to stop an assasination here in the movie "Nick of Time".

It was a great trip and the hotels were a great place to relax between meetings. Lauren ended up meeting with several potential clients in SF and LA and hopefully you'll see those advertisers on Gather soon.

We recently stayed at Aloft in Lexington which is also in the Westin family. It was a great place and a really cool concept. The fact that they had a promotional Airstream in the lot didn't hurt! There is also a longer stay hotel called elemental there which looked great.
My only complaint is that when we arrived to our room at 7pm yesterday evening, the breakfast carts from room service were still in the hallways. I dismissed this as an isolated incident, but when we returned from meetings today and still from dinner at 9:30, our own breakfast cart was still in the hallway. Surely, a hotel of this caliber should pay more attention to clearing these items out of the public areas. At the end of the day, if this is my only suggestions, they surely have most everything else figured out perfectly.
I'll be back.
We regularly convert our timeshare points into Starwood points so that we can stay with this chain at a discount or for free when travelling.
