Gulfport,Ill. , right across the Mississippi River from Burlington is under water, my freind was rescued by boat,I just talked to her.She is on her way to her brother's house, a block from me. A levy also broke here in Burlington. Three railroad bridges have been swept away! 40,000 people have been forced out of there homes that we know of. 3 million acres of farmland are under water, which of corse along with the railroad, is going to greatly effect our food supply. It is not raining today, however we in Burlington have a flash flood warning. Two out of three bridges in this area by the Quad Cites have been cloed, inculing our Great River Bridge, sorry not risking my life to go down there to take pictures, 22 already dead. The Red Cross has already ran out of money for the victums.

The group: We Comment Back
Stay safe and be careful, if they say go, run!
We go all over the world and help people. I am not saying that isn't good.
I think we need to start at home. We have PLENTY of people that need help here.
