Boy Meets Girl (August 7th)

As a child of the 80s, I just love a good power ballad. And this afternoon, as I was reliving my early years through old music videos posted on YouTube, I realised that we've been singing about love forever. One of the oldest ballads that comes to mind is Greensleeves – that tragic tale of a broken-hearted man, and his love for his Lady Greensleeves (which has been dated to around the 16th century). But as I said, I'm a child of the 80s, so for a bit of fun, I'll share with you some of my favourite love songs from that particular era.
