In one simple day
Emotions take on the form of a bee hive
Swarming our hearts and minds
In one simple day
you can feel such hatred that it eats at your soul
such love that it hurts deep in your body
In one simple day
you can feel sadness so deep it drowns your heart
happiness so intense that it puts wings on your body
In one simple day
you can reach the depths of fear that turn your mind to mush
the glories of God can bring you back up to a floating position
Only to be hit with another wave
of Emotion, intense, unforgiving like a hurricane of life, sometimes drowning you
but always letting you come back up for air
In one simple day
we find that our bodies are not so simple
that we can feel every emotion known to man
In one simple day
we can feel emotions so intense that we are overwhelmed
or perhaps calmed to the point of bliss
For in one simple day
life is never
simple
