"Think outside the box." I never really gave that quote much thought, until I heard Tony Robbins talk about how we all live such a boxed life:
"We live in a box, eat our breakfast out of a box, hop in our little boxes to drive to our box office, then we spend all day typing on a box. After our day is finished, we drive back in our box and stare at a box all evening."
Robbins forgot to add that we'll all eventually finish up in a box.
His words gave me one big wake-up call, and reminded me to say, yes, I can think outside the box. I can appreciate the curves – the ups and downs of life – because that is what makes life interesting. I can also accept that the nature of human existence is to have problems, but instead of locking myself into those problems, and then screaming and shouting about how unfair life is, I can step outside the box and see it from another angle.
"Sometimes our greatest tragedies become our greatest blessing" - yet another quote that has been (over)used, many a time. But those words have no meaning, unless we start looking at our tragedy from a different perspective.
This is all a bit deep for 12:13am, and so I'll just leave you with this:
I'd like to think, that in the same way curves look great on a woman, I believe that curves can look simply fabulous on our life.

I have a friend who is having troubles with her boyfriend right now ... what a wonderful story to show her. She needs to start thinking outside her box too.
Thank you for your awesome thoughts!
