The owner of Nascar, Roger Penske bought Saturn from GM, and that's a wonderful news for Saturn dealers, owners, and the public. This breathes new hope into the company as well. With GM stock down to $.92 a share, bankruptcy or not, it's looking grim.
But for the Saturn division this is a banner day.

This is good news!
No, it's not. In an interview a couple weeks ago, he said he wanted the dealer network. He'll have SOMEthing built overseas, and call it a Saturn, but he's not gonna build real Saturns, and he's not gonna build whatever he builds in the USA.
According to CNNMoney.com "The deal, which GM expects to be completed in October, would save more than 13,000 jobs at Saturn and its roughly 350 dealers nationwide. All of Saturn's dealerships sell only Saturn vehicles, so they are reliant on the brand's continuation for their survival."
If he's changed his mind, that's great. We'll see.
LOL! =D
