My fiancee and I were nestled together in front of a fire, looking into each other's eyes, listening to soft music, and . . . (you know the rest). At one point, I asked him,
"Baby, if there was ever a time when I was drawing my breath, my VERY last breath, what would you say to me?"
I waited with baited breath, knowing he would respond with those -- oh, so sweet three special words -- and then he said to me in the sweetest, softest voice, with his eyes looking deeply into mine and holding me in his arms, he said:
"I would tell you . . . "
(I waited as he thought for a moment, just knowing he would say "IT" and then his answer was):
" . . .to beware of Benny Hinn."
That's a true story. I nearly took the ring off my finger, to throw at him, but guess what? We did NOT get married, but not because of that incident. We are still best friends, though.
Now, here's the game: Look up at the person on this thread, and give them some words of wisdom . . . uh, famous last words. Let us see if you are like my old beau.
(jennifer h, valerie m, robyn f, and don b -- you were all my inspiration. I don't know WHY, but you were.)

Take care , I love you
OK on theme when I worked in hospice my comment often at the last breath was like at birthing moments,
"very good job, such hard work but you are doing so well"
I'm so confused now...
"You can go away now. I *am* holier than thou."
