We must try to help them fix the leak - but we must not be insensitive in our approach or it will only make matters worse.

Like the old saying I have heard all my life - "Cutting off your nose to spite your face." How can cuting off your own nose not hurt you and how can you separate one part of your body from another without suffering yourself? You can't - too bad people don't realize their errors in time to save themselves.

Robert - just a simple man - B. May 21, 2008, 9:50am EDT
Although I am against a one-world religion and one-world currency (strictly for prophetic reasons), I do believe the lesson embodied in the sinking ship depiction, needs to be learned by the international political community. After all ALL of us live on the same little rock.

For a real-time analogy; little if any aid is actually reaching the general populace, the devastated populace of Burma. In one great voice - the entire world - should be objecting!

Sorry John, not my usual witticism. Let's go see what's at the next 'byte' shall we?

The middle class and poor have felt the boat sinking on their end for a long time. Going deeper and deeper. Yet we are trying to help the entire world keep from sinking. Who is helping America. Who will? I just wish the whole world would "love one another" .
I do not want someone telling me which religion to be, or not to be. We just need to learn to work together as humans and get this earth and our own countries where they are productive land and people.
