I don't know much about the Russians these days.. I don't keep up with world events much anymore.. But, great cartoon nonetheless. I hope you will come by and read my new article when the upgrade is over.. Bye for now and take care.
We must try to help them fix the leak - but we must not be insensitive in our approach or it will only make matters worse. I agree not to take "Russia" literally. There are some serious leaks closer to home.
Excellent, John. I wish more people understood this. Then they would understand that an Iraqi daughter is no different than a Darfur daughter and is still no different than my own daughter.
Like the old saying I have heard all my life - "Cutting off your nose to spite your face." How can cuting off your own nose not hurt you and how can you separate one part of your body from another without suffering yourself? You can't - too bad people don't realize their errors in time to save themselves.
The hole in every part of the boat is the nature of our money. It sinks everyone. THe only solution is to adpot a completely different form of money such as that described in Invisible Hand published, complete, right here on Gather.
Although I am against a one-world religion and one-world currency (strictly for prophetic reasons), I do believe the lesson embodied in the sinking ship depiction, needs to be learned by the international political community. After all ALL of us live on the same little rock.
For a real-time analogy; little if any aid is actually reaching the general populace, the devastated populace of Burma. In one great voice - the entire world - should be objecting!
Sorry John, not my usual witticism. Let's go see what's at the next 'byte' shall we?
Am I wrong or is this still the guy that died & you are rerunning his work? After reading don A ... I was thinking it might be a good idea to put the date on the cartoons for clarity. This guy is great. But don had a good point. Thanks John. You should publish a book ... but then I suppose someone some place has rights on the material :)
Glome you have a point about the dates. There are some things I'd love to change but the images incorporate the words so it would be a big image reprocessing challenge to make changes at this stage.
I am posting the Thought~Bytes Phil and I did some years ago. We still have the rights to the material.
Good grief John ... I just came back over to see if there was a name on the picture and there it was!! Your name :) I never knew ... Now I need to go back and appreciate your part in all this. I'm very slow, but I finally got it :)
John Philipp do you and your partner in this enterprise always work together, or sometimes seperately? I will stay at your site for a minute and see if you are back at your computer.
The middle class and poor have felt the boat sinking on their end for a long time. Going deeper and deeper. Yet we are trying to help the entire world keep from sinking. Who is helping America. Who will? I just wish the whole world would "love one another" . I do not want someone telling me which religion to be, or not to be. We just need to learn to work together as humans and get this earth and our own countries where they are productive land and people.
With the media, technology and all, the world is way too small to for us to stand by and watch others sink. Many times the ones sinking are our own neighbors. Do unto others, and all that...

Great Thought-Byte!

Me thinks our end is not so water tight either.
But, silly humans, if it's not up to THEIR ankles, they don't see a problem.
Guess I'm hoping to evolve into a dolphin.
Invisible Hand published, complete, right here on Gather.
Now you got me thinking and I promised myself I wouldn't do that any more.
LOL, Shirley. Very good.
No argument there, Mike. Very important.
This Thought~Byte has nothing to do with "Russia."
Thanks.
I sometimes think we like wading, to use your analogy.
Friends, I will say that Larry has a suggestion that's quite original.
Excellent, June. Shouldn't that have been in my original manual?

Mine. (couldn't resist)

They say slow and steady wins the race ... I wonder if they meant the human race?

Thanx for the reminder. Have a good day...
