10 for being open. I have read in RD that the worth of a person can only be told by the dependent family (spouse). Do not assume anything. May be you will be startled by the real fact contributing to her behaviour. As I have written before, there are many who experience life as hell....if we are fortunate, please afford to show sympathy........

Ah I have seen them, As a client waiting to be served, or my turn and they close their booth or window or leave their station and stroll to the water cooler or into some employee room and come out with a cup of coffee, saunter over to chat to some other employee trying to work. Go out after the coffee for about 10 minutes and returns finally picks up my File. Mrs. D. she calls, I have been waiting for 35 minutes while she took a break. Before the break she sat for 20 minutes on the phone and polishing her fingernails. Yup I have seen them.

Wow, sounds like a few other people I know.
They love to chat instead of doing their work.

When I worked in my college bookstore, there were three slackers. I felt I was doing their work as well as my own, while they just stood around socializing. Made me mad!
Great poem to capture the frustration you feel when you have to be around workers like that.

I felt that way when I used to work in a deli.
Of course, I quit that job.

I have ran into this person also. I cannot understand why someone does those things.
It seems to me, the day goes faster if you stay busy.

Wow!!!! I know her!!!!!!!! LOL, I was a supervisor over 15 people for six years,and I am really a very laid back, easy going boss.. I tell you what to do, help you if you dont understand, stop doing my work and go help you if you had a problem client (which we did ALOT!!!!!!) and there was one girl, she had a very bad attitude, bad customer service and all she wanted to do was go on smoke breaks all the time, late coming in, late coming back from her breaks, and I rec'd so many complaints on her, that I had to actually write her up!!! I had never written anyone up in all that time until I got her...I had even talked to her, I smoke too, so I tried more than 15 times to get her under control, as a friend, not being mean, just tried to gently nudge her into doing what I needed her to do~~~~~~~It didnt work, and after 3 write ups, she would have lost her job, this was not what I wanted for her, but, she got two, and then quit.....in this economy, I couldnt believe that!!!!!!
I dont understand, it just made her day go by longer, because if you are doing your work, all the sudden it is lunch time and then it is the end of the day~~~~~~
I think that some of her problem was she was only 22 years old and didnt understand what a good job she really had
Deep breaths and wishing you peaceful days~~~~just try to understand that she may have some stuff going on, or, maybe just slap her around a little bit=====LOL!!!!!
