Today is the first official day of summer.. or was it yesterday? ..whatever.. either way, Florida seems to have gotten the memo that it's here, because it sure is bright and sunny and H-O-T here...though it's looking like it's gonna get dark here soon, and I imagine we'll be having a downpour and some thunder. No worries though, it will be over in about 15 minutes, and the sun will be back bright and shining again, as if it never left. Ahhh.. the fun of living in Florida!
So the question for today is, what is your favorite summer time treat? Ice cream.. fresh fruit.. tomatoes from your garden? chilled watermelon.. ? fresh corn on the cob? Hamburgs on the grill? what says summer to you?
For me..I love all the above.. and my favorite addiction.. freeze-pops. They're cold and sweet..cheap.. and a great quick treat.. completely grab and go. I love the blue ones best! lol

Since I can not eat strawberries anymore ( whine cry whine) I guess it would have to be a scoop of chocolate ice cream on a waffle cone!
