Is your pet spoiled?

My cats are very spoiled! Windy gets special pony tail holders to play with (she likes just one certain kind!), Riley gets the chicken flavored food he loves, and Pumpkin gets his treat of can food each night in his special diet for kidney issues. They each love their own blanket to sleep on and they like them to be layed out a certain way. Spoiled? Oh yes they are!!

My kitty is the only one who has ever been spoiled and it wasn't done intentionally at all. She's a very finicky cat and she parades around because well, she rules this world and she'll get what she wants, when she wants it, or we will suffer, lol. It's more of a love-blackmail relationship really, because she'll chew off plant ends or pee in a corner if you don't do exactly what she says or if you irritate her (...don't get too near her or accidentally trip over her when she's whining at your feet or you 'will' pay).

Several years ago I started buying an herbal powder for cats that has all these essential vitamins, minerals, etc. It came by recommendation from the same couple I trusted with my own care at times, so I gave it a shot. They told me she'd love it, but it smelled horrible and she turned her nose up at it to begin with. Many years later, she'll wake you up if you're sleeping too long, just to get her powder. I swear I have a crack kitty who needs her fix every morning now, lol.

So maybe she's spoiled...or maybe she's just a one-woman mafia that I'm scared to not please, heh.

Mine are not too spoiled, they just receive their rawhide treats & get lots of love -well they do have a lot of toys to play with.....

my 4 own me, they allow me to live w/ them, as long as i keep paying the mortgage....LOL

Quirky Jessi - "I swear I have a crack kitty who needs her fix every morning now, lol." That is so funny! If I don't give my three their little treat of can food at exactly 8:30PM every night - It's hell to pay!! I fell asleep early the other night and my husband said all three of them were on the bed glaring at me. He doesn't do the treat "right" so I am the only one that knows exactly how they like it.

No way... She gets lots of love and attention but she seems to just like being with me more than being near me hoping for treats.

mine likes to copy me. So he has his own plate and cup to eat and drink from. He has a tent in one room and beds in each bedroom as well as his own raincoat, sweater and winter coat.(we live in new england and he is a little shih tzu.

Rocky is spoiled, but he is our kid and an excellent dog. We buy him stuffed animals and frisbees. He does not get junk food.

Oh geez, then I won't sound 'too' incredibly silly for this:

She won't eat stale food. She really will starve herself before she'll eat food that has "set there for too long." Sometimes she'll go into a crying fit and even though she has food that shouldn't be stale, she'll whine about it. All she wants is for me to toss her food around a bit so that it's mixed up (it's dry food, so a quick twirl of the dish does the trick). We laugh that she likes her food "shaken, not stirred" and when I had to leave her back home for a while, my mom and sister were given strict instructions to shake her food if they couldn't figure out why she was fussing. I swear she's just like a baby that can't talk, at times....but a very spoiled one, lol.

Lucy is very spoiled as she refuses the treats at the bank and
would instead opt for a nice piece of turkey jerky and forget about
any kind of doggy treats. My hubby says Lucy has more toys than he
does. :) She gets to go for daily rides and hates when she has to
stay home with the kitties.

My degu has a 4-level cage and gets a lot of treats, lol.

My guinea pig lives alone in a 50 gallon tank and I just made him his own salad the other night. He's been living here less than 2 weeks and he's already spoiled.

My dog and Cat have my husbond and I well traeined.We are here just to take care of them

I didn't used to, but I got worried that my eldest cat (15 years) lost so much weight that I took him to the vet. $150 late, he had a bladder infection, abscessed tooth, and is extremely hyper thyroid. He is done with his antibiotics, is on a daily pill and needs to get his tooth pulled. My cat is on more meds than myself and has a higher dentist bill... Oh, and I feel bad that he has a bad tooth, so he gets canned cat food. And it has to be the expensive kind because one of the other cats has a weak stomach and will throw up all over the house if he doesn't eat the expensive cat food.

Yup, I spoil my dogs and I spoiled whatever pets I used to have too.
