Neatly passionate

He looks at those packing boxes, lying askew. The lack of pattern disturbs him. He moves them till they form a perfect pyramid. Ask anybody from his childhood, he has this thing.... Of course, the chances are that those who know him shall maintain a silence. The clients will not tell you, either. The men killed by him are silent, for obvious reasons, but the methods of those killings are eloquent. The police can vouch for the neatness he adopts while performing his artful murders.
Now the situation is changed. This is the other side of the moon and he is being hunted by a don. It is his destiny. Those who live by the sword..... It is a known end, and bothers him least. The killer hired to kill him is likely to take his place in this world. It fails to stir him.
He has been abducted. This is a cellar, unkempt with boxes and discarded objects. He has been kept untied. The method bothers him. There will apparently be violence and blood. He in his career never practiced blood and gore. Most of the time his victims did not know what hit them. The police have never seen him. They have searched for him by a fictitious name, a pet name- "The Traceless." Now the prospect of a gross murder is bothering him. The murder of "The Traceless."
The killer walks down the stairs, into the cellar. The muscular figure towers over ‘The traceless’. Oh no, he enjoys blood.... The splash of blood on his blue shirt takes a strange shape.
II
“Have anything been recovered to identify the body?”
“No, sir. The water overcame the details. The murder is quite gruesome. The traceless cannot have done this.”
“But you never know…”
“Anyway, let us see if the body matches anyone on the missing persons list."
The morgue is cold. Of course, it should be. One should be glad that the cooling system is working. The body of ‘The traceless’ lies upon a steel tray. His head is cockeyed. The body slowly moves to adjust the head. Now, that it is linear with the body, nothing more happens.

Kind of like a Rod Serling Twilight Zone with the morgue drawer brought into ones mind, panning in to see the head ascew and then morphing into allignment! (At least that's what I saw in my mind's eye! Really an easy read with so much vision provided.)

Well written and thanks for posting.
it's good to remember that from 5 to 15 people every day in LA County Hospital die from gunshot or stabbings wounds, and the press isn't allowed in the hospital at all.
Thanks.
