A monastic traveler speaks
I am not proud to be
not an easy person… true!
The dog, with a wound through which
a universe is dripping,
does not answer. The straight trees
shadow the path; shadows change
as per the cycle of sun.
A limping dog, a lean man.
Every bed of adventures
has numerous peas to lie.
Just trying to guess the route
to the island of lost mails.
Searching is the adventure.
I am not proud to be
an escapee from your mails.
The limping dog cannot chase
a whistling mailman away.
No excuse but the fact that
we are on the move always.

new icon midst an ole frame
A jovial icon. Youthful too.
Time’s smirk is reflected on the glass.
Frame of aged woods, relative truths,
I cross another day on light feet.

In your second, I see a man looking in a mirror, with no time for "What might have been." He's happy with himself now, in the present, willing to accept himself for all he is, and was, with a smile. Life is still a journey to him.

This is my favorite line, amar Kobi.
Poem 2: I love the contrast between the youth of the narrator and the aged wood frame.
