I got not one, but two calls last week that In Over Her Head final

The "over my head" part comes in where I have to supply them with two one-page excerpts to be read aloud in case I win. (I'm happy just to be nominated, but hey, I'll take a win. I'll even take two!) The read-alouds are always hysterical, especially because the woman reading them really puts some "oomph" into it (especially if they're love scenes!)
So, now I have to go through a 343 page book and pick out some good scenes. I'm hoping people who have read it will lend a hand and recommend a scene. The first person who recommends a scene that I pick will win one of my (supply-dwindling)
mermaid cell phone charms. (And since the next series is about genies, these babies are hot commodities!)
So, any recommendations? Do I go for straight-out comedy, like where Erica meets his mother and sisters the first time, or they get a surprise visitor "the morning after"? Or do I go for smart-ass like when Reel's walking around naked on the island? Or sexy like their kiss on the beach?
What's your favorite scene from the book?

It really brings up visual imagery that is sure to win over the readers!! Listeners!!!
That one is on my list, Kathryn. Thanks for the suggestion!
I am recasting my storyline to fit the following: Turning points, mid point, black moment, climax, resolution - with subplots, heat, conflict, and scene building -cutting techniques and hooks/buttons.
(From the man who gave the book to a friend so he can't be more specific and I mean what I said.)
