Treasure of letters
The letters need a piece of mind as a food
or as a bait to lure them into a track;
then they will resemble black ants on the move.
I know this sheet, this white paper in your fist
wants to tell things, letters are not permitting.
I feel the mind, throbbing behind, confused a bit.
Soon the hunger, which the letters have, will eat heart
and all I shall read is not enough to quaff
the thirst. Like all other letters it will be
kept as a gift, precious treasure, forever.

The first was a welcome breath of fresh air in your style my friend. The second, same old Kushal perfection.
:+) I've got to get some sleep.....
Don't forget to give me a bear(panda) hug.
excellent! -i loved the helix. (you are illumination.)
i understand that second one, and to my very marrow.
Statistics reveals that not everyone has dared to understand these.
INTERESTING and FASCINATING the way you've layed the first poetic out for us Poddar.
The second one, "Treasure of letters" is well written. The following line . . . "then they will resemble black ants on the move." ~ says much in and of itself.
I like these, and thank you for sharing them with us in Artistic Minds®. You know all of the POETS of the Group, and those who have an appreciation for poetry can appreciate your Masterful Poetic Works.
What a lovely dedication to Heidi in the first one. Thank you.
I know, of all, you and Thomas would understand.
:)
And yes, letters do need peace of mind...and yeah,'blac ants on the move' is so wonderfully graphic.
The second poem, a pained and painful truth...and yes, all letters are precious, to be kept forever....

I thought the set-up on "dna" was quite inventive, the second poem ''precious"
Very good. I liked them both very much, but then, I always like your poems.
n ... i ... c ... e ... !
The format of the first poem has a powerful effect. It feels as though the second poem is also meant for Heidi and her poetry. Well done, as always. Thank you for posting to our group.
Almost a follow up to one of Thomas's. Good answer too.
I had to go back and reread. The first one kept drawing me back to read it again and again. Maybe it was the format. Very good
You too, Renee?
Thank you, John. I hope I have not bothered you.
Kushal,
Beautiful-perfection, the first a follow up for Heidi, the second, so true it hurts...

with my thanks for placing it here...

Exquisite art in words~deeply grooved cellular dreams in dual skips~
Thank you for posting to GutterGirls~FEATURED
Fun and inspiring piece. Thoroughly enjoyed your exploration here.
Very unusual and very well written, dear Kushal - bravo, my friend! :-)
Blessings and best wishes - S.
You have a way with words my friend, a precious way none too many find, keep up the good work, that was a sweet tribute to Heidi you did.
i love the way you presented the first one...i love the way it flows all the way down. the sec. poem, i can relate to. to have paper in hand and not have any words to put on it, i have felt many times before.
loved them both!
indeed a 10 from me
I liked the first what an original and amazing style, the second was very good too.
I'm mulling over ehe first and liked the second. 10.
The visual construction of your first poem is more on target than you might think. Our DNA is laced with long strands of useless or "nonsense DNA," and your punctuation reminds me of this.
Your second poem sounds like an ode to the Iranian revolutionaries.
Thank you for posting to The Surreal Circus.
Your comment are always wonderful.
To the memories
DNA... wow!
and...
"The letters need a piece of mind as a food
or as a bait to lure them into a track;
then they will resemble black ants on the move."
Treasure of Letters! This is a wonderful description of writing and the muse. Something is need to lure the letters into a track. :) Beautiful!
my father used to say "keep the LAST letter from a person, not all of them" that was strange advice, but I kept more of his than he ever knew.
Heidi did have that one gene... very good Poddar.
this is a mindblowing configuration, loved it.
very nice
Loved it , keep up the good work
Yes, you are evolving, stretching your poetic prowness... Bravo! Bravo! I am impressed, Might want to try some Haiku.. good mental disipline for condensing thought. Love your work
Your expression, as always, touches me. After the first poem, I couldn't help but interpret the second one to be saying that all a poet's written words are letters to the world in some form. And that brought Emily Dickinson's Letter to the World to my mind.
love these poems and the comments. Ann M's comment on the second poem made me go and read it again for another perspective.
great one!
Letters can be treasures far beyond the mere words written upon them. Deeply felt poem, Kushal. And I'm delighted to read the comments on the first.
I love the treasure of letters, so awesome!
Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting

*a poem for you my friend*
i wanted this to continue. wah. the ending kind of tricks me but that's probably because i didn't want it to end. and then i decided to read it again to see if there was more and in fact there was, but that's besides it still ending.
a very interesting form this poem takes...and it works so well....nice write
