Travel stories
Like the crow on the front porch
crying for rain all summer long
and when the drops begin, curses,
by then the feathers are all drenched;
the travel stories of life
fails to link the inner desires.
The pearls of sweats down your cheeks
are bubbles of tall tales, stories-
of travels and of life’s this and that
all of which you can tell, settled on a couch.
But you just stare instead at us,
the children conjure in lure of stories.
You just stare at us, the stories
have gained freedom; you whisper,
“They are not of mine.”
Monkey
The monkey always believed itself as God,
after all, we are, what it has made us.
Temple
It is a promise to meet God
and like any other promise
it is often broken at our fault.
God
You knew that He lived
within you
till you made Him disappear
to make room
for many more complex matters.

Ironic/paradoxical and very true.
subject of my post is pure coincidence!
Thank you for posting this to The Surreal Circus.
Open to everything around you, gathering in, shuffling the deck, dealing back onto the table. Everyone resonates with your choice of phrasing; clips from their own lives caught in your magic mirrors.
And your warmth of heart always so central, regardless of more complex things.
