Hi folks, Things are looking up here at my studio. This summer has been productive. I just finished a profitable commissioned portrait painting. My schedule was grueling, working every minute of the day and night to meet a deadline set by the client. So the creative juices are running again. It feels great mixing paint, choosing just the right brushes to do the job, stopping the painting session at just the right time so when I return to the easel I can continue painting with ease, then cleanning the glass palette and the brushes so they'll all be ready the next morning too. Like any work we do; creating works of art takes alot of energy: blood, sweat, and "tears", and it's all worth it. The finished painting is just the climax of a great creative experience. As I finish one painting my mind is planning strategy for the next one. bye for now, Barb.
