Today I did 3 transactions. I spent over an hour trying to figure the best way to do it for the best savings...I pretty much gave up. LOL
Then, Walgreen's was out of the Fusion MVP Razors that I had planned for part of my second transaction. I had then planned on using the $6 Register Rewards from buying it on my 3rd time through the line.
I had to do some quick deciding in the store on something to change....then I was out in my car refiguring.
First transaction:
2-Dawn dish soap, used Walgreens coupon for .99 each, then used 1-.50 coupon and 1-.25 coupon.
Dentek dental floss on sale for 2.00--received $2 register rewards (RR)
Herbel Essence mousse on sale for $2.99, rec'd $2 RR
Halls Sugar Free, on sale for $1, rec'd $1 RR
I used 1-$2 RR and 1-$2.50 RR for the 2 items I didn't have coupon for.
Total paid $2.28
I rec'd $5 total is RR's to use later.
Second transaction:
Emercen-C, on sale for $3.49, rec'd $3.50 RR
Chapstick, on sale for $2.99, rec'd $3 RR
Halloween pencil .39 (filler)
Camp Rock Activity book on clearance for .75 (filler)
I then used the $5 in RR's that I rec'd from the first transaction plus another $2 RR
Total paid was $2.16
I rec'd $6.50 in RR's to use later.
Third transaction:
Dixie plates, on sale for $1.99, used .30 coupon
Oral-B toothbrush, on sale for $3, used .75 coupon, rec'd $3 RR
Robitussin DM, on sale for $2.49, rec'd $2.50 RR
3-Halloween tumblers 3- for $1 (fillers)
Vaseline lotion on sale for $6.99, used $1.50, rec'd $7 RR
I then used the $6.50 in RR's from the 2nd transaction as well as a $2 RR and $1.
Total paid $4.46.
I rec'd $12.50 in RR's to use later.
Total spent.....$8.90....and I have $12.50 in Register Rewards for next weeks shopping.
Walgreens is loaded with items to get RR's back on this week. I bought what I knew we would use. The Camp Rock activity book, the Vaseline lotion and the toothbrush are going into my gift tote.

Where do you get all your coupons from?
I have some blogs that I follow to help me make my list.
I look through the ad myself first, but then I have some blogs that I go to to see lists and what has matching or printable coupons to also use.
Usually if the items has the full price back in the form of the register rewards, it's also on a pretty good sale.
you can use them as long as you have one item in your cart for each register rewards that you don't have a manufacturers coupon for already
hence...why I put in the 3 cups for $1 so I could use 3 on my order.
and...there was one in the All You magazine that I know I cut out but sure couldn't find it in my coupon box!
I thought I would give it a try and now wondering if I should try to see if they still have some and buy more
