That was very interested. Did you catch the "cooked bread" ?? Oh my! Kinda makes my mom's "miracle whip on white bread" lunch sound normal.

Did you see the story about where she worked in a factory? She hated her boss b/c he was so mean to her, and then she said "I hope he gets in an accident" and the next day -- he got into an accident! He was ok,, but.....wow.....don't get that woman mad.......lol

Thanks Donna - I'll have to check her out. I've always been interested in how people survived in the great depression. I'm sure knowing how to cook a meal from nothing helped a great deal.
