Centered: Through My Eyes

Hi there & welcome!  I haven't posted any of my flowers in awhile and thought I'd put a different spin on things.  If you know anything about me by now, it's that I like to be different.  With my photographs, that sometimes means trying to see things in a different way from the norm ~ looking at shadows of flowers, rather than the flowers themselves; taking a drop of water and trying to make it appear to be more than it is...  This time, I'm focusing on the centers of various flowers in my garden.  Hope you'll enjoy seeing them through my eyes!

Marilyn, that's just how I feel too. I just discovered we have a photography museum in our area and I've started paying more attention to the art photos at the festivals and judged art fairs in our area - to spy a little on other artists and see what they are doing.

Discovering new angles and perspectives - or just suddenly seeing something in your mind's eye and carrying it out - is the motivation for me to keep taking pictures.
