"Where flowers bloom, so does hope! " ~ Ladybird Johnson
Welcome back to my flower gardens. It's been a little while since I've shared with you the buds, blooms, and blossoms from the various beds I have at home. I went out this morning to see what goodies I could find and am excited to present them for your perusal! I hope you'll enjoy them half as much I did capturing them...
First, I'd like to show you some of my Dahlias. My white ones weren't in bloom today, but here are
the red, the pink, and the yellow ones!

Next I'd like to show off the first of my sunflowers to come into bloom this season. I have a few buds on the tall vines, but just one that's come into full view thus far.

I loved the look of the bud too! If you like what you're seeing, watch out for my altered flower photographs coming soon to a Gather post near you! ;)
I grew some wildflowers from seed and here are some of what they've produced for me:

I believe the bright pink one (above) is a Zinnia.

My Moonbeam Coreopsis (left) are
loaded with blooms and my Sedum
(right) are preparing to open.
I have both white & purple Campanula that have split a few times and I'm hoping for even more plants next year.

These will bloom all summer long as long as you remember to deadhead them!
We cherish our Rose of Sharon, but wish we hadn't planted it so close to the pool as it can get pretty messy! We are constantly rewarded with a profusion of some of the most beautiful flowers and so it will remain with us for as long as it (or we) last...

Purple Salvia and Black-Eyed-Susans also adorn my gardens.
That's it for today! Please come back again soon!
~ Dedicated to my friend, Fancy. Take care, girlfriend! ~

Thank you ever so much, Nana! I actually have several flower beds scattered throughout my yard. My husband helps a lot and was good enough to haul in all the rocks and boulders to make them that much better. I owe a lot to him. :)
