Come - let's take a walk in my garden and see all the pretty colors of the geraniums in bloom.
JR (frugal mom) commented that I must have a colorful garden and yes, I do, but because there is also plenty of green to go around, it isn't overwhelming.
WELCOME!

How do you like my new wreath?
Remember the geranium I planted in a pot by the front door in the early spring?
It's still going strong,
although I forget to water it sometimes:)

Geraniums come in all colors of the rainbow, they don't mind the heat or the shade and they forgive you when you forget to water once in a while. They get fat and happy with good soil and a sprinkling of fertilizer.
Here is one in my veggie garden.

Geraniums compliment any garden style, whether country or elegant, modern or romantic, there's a color and a container that will make your geranium sparkle.
If you want color - spend 99 cents to 4.98, depending on your budget and the size of the plant. Buy a small plant in the early spring and watch it grow and bloom all summer long into the fall.
Here in Florida, geraniums bloom all year and around Christmas, I like to use the red geraniums and plant them around my fountain along with white impatiens.
This year our local plant nursery had such lovely colors that I was persuaded to move away from my old standby - fire engine red.

I have to tell you - I like them all!

Embellish the pots with your garden decor or give it a companion plant,
no matter what,
Geraniums always look pretty.

So enjoy your garden - patio - balconies or just a nice planter by your front door, these colorful geraniums are happy everywhere.
Since you dropped by, let me show you my newest addition to the garden, I haven't planted it yet, because I didn't have a pot for it .....
It's called a devil's trumpet - they had these at the Green Thumb Festival for $35, but I found it at my local nursery for seven bucks. Score!:)
Isn't it pretty?

Careful .....
let's not destroy spidey's handiwork.
Spidey must have been busy weaving all night!
Thanks for looking my gather friends!

A W S O M E !
Gorgeous geraniums. Every year since I was a little kid, I buy my mom a geranium plant :)
Beautiful photoessay! At work, there's a whole section just for geraniums :) A lot of them are about to bloom... they'll look so pretty when they do!
Tory - with your new job, I bet your balcony will be overflowing with flowers:)
Part of my paycheck already went to a different variety of morning glory, and a pot for it ;)
beautiful!
Great photo essay - the flowers are really pretty and cool web!
Rose, your garden looks gorgeous! I'll have to plant some Geraniums, I love all the different colors.
I love the variety in colors... the soft lavendar one is fav! The Devil's Trumpet is gorgeous!
Beautiful photo essay...I have never grown a geranium but perhaps I need to explore them more as they come in colors I didn't know they did until you showed these...the Devil's Trumpet is so unusual..but perhaps I'll start with a lavader one which is really striking...
Your geraniums are gorgeous.
Wonderful geraniums Rose! I haven't planted any this year...and now I think I might have to pick some up~
Great flowers and wonderful colors.. I like the "wreath" too ;)
Rose, loved every single one of these lovely ladies - wow - and that's devil's thing as well - and you're so much like me - I don't mess with the spiders - they are the artists of the gardens and I leave them alone! Thanks for this wonderful post in The Pregnant Onion Club...enjoy them all! Salud
You have amazing flowers. I really like the devil's trumpet. So pretty. Thanks for the tour.
Beautiful garden as usual. I love geraniums and usually plant quite few pots each summer. They bloom well into fall in my region and with a little care (dead heading) they flourish. Thanks for the great photo essay.
You don't plant the Devil's Trumpet in the ground? Isn't it a perennial for you?
It could be a perennial, but I'm not sure where I'd like it yet.
Very pretty, Rose.
I love geraniums; they are one of the easiest flowers to grow, and you don't need much of a green thumb at all to have success with them. I bought some for 44 cents each at our local nursery, and they are just thriving with all the rain we have had in the Midwest!
I LOVE your devil's trumpet. I've never seen one before, but it is just gorgeous!
As always, I really love seeing your garden photos. I never get tired of them and they bring such joy!
I am convinced now that I need geraniums. I see them everywhere and have never had one. If they are that easy and so beautiful, I gotta have some! Love the red. And absolutely love the devil's trumpet. Wow! Beautiful as always Rose.
...and I love your wreath, you made it?
Carol - no:) LOL I didn't make the wreath. It's metal and came from Big Lots. I love stars and it will be pretty for the 4th of July too:)
Funny, you never know what you will find at Big Lots.
Oh, what fun. I'd like to come and spend a week just sitting in your garden. Lucky you.
These are such pretty flowers, each one like a special bouquet of it's own. I like all the pretty colors. Love the wreath and the spider web too.
Thanks so much for sharing this with my group.
Gorgeous photos in your essay! Geraniums are great for any garden. The Datura (Devils Trumpet) is gorgeous. Beware that it is toxic like Belladona and Henbane.
Thank you for posting your photo essay at Pretty Pictures.
Beautiful photos. Love your front door.
WOW! Those colors are gorgeous!! great shots!!!
I love geraniums, how you said they easy to grow and so beautiful
I've loved geraniums ever since I lived in Germany and got used to having them in all the window boxes. They've been in my window boxes ever since.
I've always hated geraniums--until now:) I think it was because my father did--he was color blind and couldn't see the blooms of the red ones, the only ones my mom planted.
You have such a beautiful garden!
We love your beautiful garden! Thanks for sharing it with us here at Home Comfort
