I just happened to be outside in that area all day watching my flower bed being built or I would have missed it.

I never noticed how long they took to open before.

I know they are buds one day and flowers the next time I look.

You did a wonderful job capturing the various stages of the flower opening up. My Irises are beautiful this year. I think I am going to separate them this fall as they are getting to be too many in clumps. My Peonies need separated too.

I've never had the time to watch my flowers throughout the day. This was educational.
