The Inniswood Gardens Metropark is located in Westerville, Ohio just north of Columbus. Inniswood gets its name from the Innis sisters, Grace and Mary, who donated their 37 acre estate to the Metroparks in 1972. This park is open daily from 7 a.m. until dark and admission is free.

Purples and blues seemed to be the early bloomers. I saw a lot of Bluebells
Bluestars
And Allium

This cut flower garden will soon be ablaze with color

She's standing guard in the herb garden
I love chive blossoms

There are lots of shady paths
And shady places to relax

The cascading waterfall is a popular feature in the rock garden
Daylillies are blooming around the pond

I found a frog
If you visit Inniswood be sure to have some Fun In The Sisters' Garden before you leave.

Beautiful photo essay. I used to work in Westerville, and would stop at Inniswood form time to time to "chill out" before heading home. It has such a wonderful calming effect on me..lol
This is a beautiful photo essay. I would love to walk those gardens and relax on that bench. The flowers are beautiful and I would guess the birds were singing.
