Playing With My New Digital Camera (Photo essay)

I was really excited to get a new camera and the weather's been kind of crappy lately, but every time I get a chance to I take my camera out and run around taking pictures. Here are some that I took recently, mostly on a walk that I took with my grandfather.

Here's a picture of the flowers that I have in the house to bring a little color to the kitchen.

Some pictures of the flag on the back porch at night. This is a good example of the motion blur that happens at night with wind.

Here's the wind chimes on the back porch at night.

And this is the Mennonite farm across the street.

And the beginning of our walk...trying to fit it in before we got rain.

The tree in the back yard.

Some dead buds on the tree in the front yard.

I call this one "old man walking"...lol. And I got hit for telling him that. xD Never insult people holding canes.

Here's a close up on some tree bark. I don't know why I took this, I just thought it was an interesting texture.

Here are some pictures of the cows from the Mennonite farm next door.

And, finally, a feral kitty that my grandmother has been feeding.

I'm really excited about this new camera and I plan on taking a bunch of other pictures with it. ^_^ I'll be posting some Christmas decoration pictures pretty soon, too, so keep an eye out for them!
