With the weather getting nicer, alot of us are going to be taking care of our yards and working on getting out lawns nice and green. Trying to kill all the psty weeds that are around.
Keep in mind when you are shopping for the right products that you check and see the warnings for animals. Most of them are not safe for animals and can cause them to become very sick and possiblly kill them.
So when you are out shopping or spraying things on your lawn and weeds, that you read it carefully and make sure your pets are safe.
We almost learn this the hard way once and I dont want anyone else to have to go throught what we did, all because we did not bother to read the warning on the back side of the bottle.

Helping out with triple points!! Go Points!
They go potty in the bathroom.....thats as far as it goes.....too bad we can not train our doxie to go on the toilet. They get mad if you are in the bathroom when they have to go....they want their privacy too.
Another thing: Dogs should never have chocolate. It can cause serious medical problems or death.
Blessings...
Triple points for the rest of the day! Yeah...
For insect control you can use something like Diatomaceous Earth though I would avoid using this too heavily in the garden except for something like an ant infestation as it will kill bees, dragonflies and ladybugs as well. Though I wouldn't, nor would I recommend, you can eat fruits and vegetables almost immediately after an application.
Salmon based oils will not only prevent most bugs or animals from eating your plants but will also feed them. Just don't use it immediately before the family picnic as it can be quite "fragrant" and will last for about 12 hours or so depending on how heavy you apply it. It lasts long after the "thrill" is gone too. I used it primarily as a fertilizer about every two weeks and it works great. I haven't had the pleasure of a garden in a number of years but have been told that there are some salmon based repellents available commercially now.
