View From My Bedroom Window

I got up this morning and looked out my bedroom window. I was struck by the beautiful view. I decided to share the view with all of you. Hope you enjoy it. I certainly do.

 

This is above my side of the bed. The small pink flowers are Weigela and the larger flowers are a huge Rhodedendron.

This is the view above Bill's side of the bed. More of the Weigela and a shot of the dog pen and the pear tree.

Every morning I feel like awaken inside a bower of blossoms.

I love the weigela! I've seen it before, but didn't know what it was. I'm going to plant some flowering shrubs soon, so I'll look for it.

Anyway, I've always found that Rhododendron tend to attract lots and lots and lots of bees; is this the case where you are as well?

Lovely view, to have that each morning would be something indeed.
I think I'd have to grab a cuppajo and curl back up every morning just to enjoy it.
It'd make a great meditation spot!

Peter, not too many bees. And I don't mind if bees come in and take a bit of sweetness with them.

Bill, about 12 steps for that first cup of the day.

Just so you all know, rhodies don't have a scent, nor do the weigela. However, we have a lot of azaleas and they are the ones with heavenly scents.
